That fs barrel stance is probably one of the most helpful surfing tips I've found online
@Threalrob224 жыл бұрын
For real, I cannot understate how helpful your videos they are. The only thing I think that could help more is a POV video with a mouth GoPro. I mean when I watch these it’s like I have a personal surf coach. Also, what Apple Watch band is that!? Haha

That’s where surfing is crazy😂 all these intricate technical adjustments that need to be made in split seconds in order to come out the other end of that tube. Thanks for the tutorial! Extremely useful, can’t wait to integrate these techniques into my surfing🤙🏼 If you could put together a tutorial on how to position yourself when doing some big backhand snaps, that would be epic!

So good!!! Even more Stoked for this weekend now! Frontside- arm inside leg is a total game changer. Backside-turning your front foot and then allowing that heel to come off the board for more mobility and a lower squat 🤯. Thanks for taking the time to find the old clips and I think I speak for all of us when I say .....film more when it's smaller!!!

Used to find it really easy to pigdog when I was a whippersnapper up until about the age of 40 now after a few injuries etc and being 49 it ain't so easy anymore frontsides fine just can't get so low now onda backhand interesting watch 🏄👌🤙a wide stance helps a lot on your backhand I think it did me anyway people with narrower stance,s quite often look awkward when pigdogging 🤙

Another great vid with some helpful insight. For what it is worth, I understand you have to calculate the ROI for paying a filmer and your time I editing such for each time you go out to film, but I would enjoy seeing more summer footage of yours when it is smaller like this.
@brettbarley4 жыл бұрын
I’m definitely going to... it’s just hard as my filmer from REAL Watersports needs to do whatever’s most productive and filming small surf doesn’t take precedence over shooting stuff at the shop on a given day. But we got after it today in some small fun tubes! Coming next week :)

Your videos are gold. Not many people have the skill to perform, the amassed footage, and the analytical inclination to produce a video like this. Is this body position something you worked out and put into practice or was there some other process of discovery that led to you finding it?
