It's 8/7/20 and here in the states we're still in a real crisis with the virus. So I mostly am quarantined for health. That's how I found you just watching tons of KZbin. Up you popped. As kids on narrow boat holidays, my older brother (by 10.5 months), and I would go ahead an prep the locks so that our parents and a lifelong friend (Ian) could navigate with a bit more speed. However, my brother (Jonathan) let go of the sluice handle and had not set the keep. The handle hit him in the forehead and subsequently knocked him out cold. Ian and my father took turns, whilst running, carrying unconscious Jonathan about a mile to the nearest road, where they hitched lift to hospital. We tied up in Stratford upon Avon for a day or two whilst Jonathan had a short spell in hospital. I think we were about 11 or 12. Great Times

Hi Peter 👋 Thank you so much. I said from day one that we wouldn't go down the road of 'Diary of lockdown' and the such. I think that's just taking advantage of viewers and in six months the videos will be irrelevant. We won't be changing our our core theme, and if anything, we'll be adding content rich material to help people forget the madness. Really glad you messaged us about this. Thanks! Take care.

We still have a man driving cattle with a stick in our village in Dorset. He only drives them between different fields, but it does mean closing an “A” road for a bit each day. Sadly, no canals though! Love the channel, watch it every day - brilliant!

There's something surreal about watching you guys strategizing how to acquire your needed supplies in the midst of the lockdown, from my own lockdown in California, while checking up on my friend in Singapore as she and her cat keep each other company on lockdown, and my friend in Tel Aviv celebrates Passover with his extended family via Skype.

Thank you Colin for your in-depth explanation of how locks work. As an Aussie I have always been intrigued with your locks and your drone shots helped but it was still confusing until now. Thanks so much Colin👍👍
