Gada is oldest indian weapon but in ancient times it doesn't use in wars due to curse of lord balram the gada expert due to breaking of law of gada fighting between bheem and duryodhana

I know it’s going to be very unrelated. my thought. but do you know bamboo is the most common thing used in eastern India at the place of other wood as other forms of wood is used in north west and south India. I have a curious thought of Indian bamboo, it has more wooden content in it. if anybody living in south east Asia wanna confirm what I said. Can order bamboo stick from india and see it more wood then bamboo, sticks you will find in south east Asia is more pure bamboo. Is that what’s used to be called “great wooden palace of maurya” made of mud plastered around bamboo sticks.

A good starting length is 4’6″ Or the height should be close to your nipple while standing is what I followed

What does that gesture mean? To touch the Gada then your forehead and then the Gada again? It's like paying respect to Sri Hanuman?

@@giovannigavassino1047 actually mace was used in war in Shri Hanuman era ...there was last mace war between Bheem and duryodhana in Mahabharat war ...where Bheem hit the mace below the waist that is in femur bone of duryodhana.... furious balram ( lord Krishna brother) give curse that mace or gadda will not used in war from now.... actually there was a rule that gada can't hit below waist line ......but the only way to defeat evil duryodhana was his weak femur bone .....but rule was broken so the gada or mace suffered and it vanished from Indian traditional war weapons 😊

I don't believe any of these specific ways are wrong. Over time, people learned different ways to swing. A heavier weight will be done in a "cheat" manner and slide it over the shoulder (then get the oil on your shoulder). You are engaging the triceps much more by sliding but also hurts more (imho). If you don't touch your shoulder when swinging I would consider this actually better for development more strength. Whenever the weight is lower, clean swings are easier while increasing the weight makes it much harder to be powerful and toss it up.

Practicing heavy while swinging it closer to traps will help him feel the heavy weight much lighter after practice
