The prices are based on India, in other countries this might be more expensive. Still it's relatively cheap and easy to create compared to any other fitness equipment.

8 yrs ago when I made my first Gada, I created mixture of cement and stone dowels and sand in proper ratio and then I put it inside of pot. It resulted in a very strong mace. The second one I made it in Pune right after two years and I used a plastic container and I never removed it, also the handle of that mace is mild steel pipe,it resulted into twice heavier than my previous Gada. Now I can frequently make my Gada anytime.

one tip while making the gada by yourself, before putting cement in the pot just cover te inside of the pot by polythene so that cement do not touch the pot, this way the outer surface of gada wont look smooth, but the chances of damage during breaking pot will be very less

From a concrete finisher - They meant cement and gravel/rocks. The combination makes concrete. Also mixing those separately (keep it on the dry side for max strength) will make the result much more consistent. They mentioned the concrete can break when breaking the pot off. Keeping the mix dryer will help that, and also it would help to coat the pot in something that will help the concrete release. You could spray non stick oil in, wd 40, diesel fuel, even just making sure the pot is moist before pouring concrete would be helpful. Good luck on your craft!

The mixing of the concrete was interesting. They would be better off mixing the concrete mix along with the aggregate (stones) first and then adding it to the pot. The way they mixed it is super hard to get it mixed properly not to mention gauging how much aggregate and water to use. Anyone who wishes to build something similar could also pour a small amount of water into the pot first, then dust the inside with some of the concrete mix before adding the prepared mixture. Most of the time this give you a nice smooth surface free of imperfections.

What an interesting training tool! I think i will make one myself from materials available here. Bamboo and clay pots would be a tad too expensive for that purpose, though. I assume, that breaking the pot and the round shape of the head is of no critical importance, so i would just buy a small plastic bucket, and leave it at that. Some hardwood shovel handle should suffice as bamboo replacement. The only thing of real difficulty would be to find a location secluded enough to not attract any funny looks.

Actually NO, Shri Ram is all about the duty (dharma) of a son, a husband, a brother, and of a king. Even in face of danger and death and to send his wife away to uphold his duty, that is the character of Shri Ram. Physical workout is easy. Firangis do a hell of a lot more workouts than us. But to have a character like Shri Ram is tough and that is even way harder to master. It's like a never-ending Tapasya. In today's day and age it's like a test one has to go through every day. Shri Ram is known to establish the dharma and not for his physical prowess. Those who only talk about physical workouts are noobs, as this is the easiest to get and is actually unrelated to the whole philosophy of Ramayana. Take care of your dharma first. Everything else will follow suit.

Love the video but I would like to add that 24hrs is not enough time for the concrete to set properly. Ideally you would let it set for 28 days in a very humid environment to give it plenty of time. At that point you could probably bang it on the ground to brake the ceramic without any real risk for the concrete. Also if you would like to make a heavy and compact one you could use powdered iron mixed along with the cement. It would also make it a lot stronger
