How to switch between two computers with Logitech Mx master 3? Explained.

I have the MX Keyboard and the MX Master 3S, could I use the keyboard to switch between both of the devices? Using #1 for the primary device, and have the mouse follow which device the keyboard is connected to?

I also feel frustrating the lack of this design. The keyboard has a nice 3 (direct selection) push buttons, why doesn't directly talk to the mouse and tell the bluetooth chip to switch the channel in sync with the keyboard?! This Flow is a wrong architecture.. it depends on the OS support, which Logitech doesn't really do to cover the most important OS for professional work. Just MAC and Windows. But MAC is more fore fashion, who edit photos and videos and a few similar stuffs. Those which works in modern hardwares, platforms, such as AI accelerators, FPGA, etc.. still must use some linux flavour. Have you seen AMD (or Xilinx) having MAC support for their high-tech tools?

Y̶e̶s̶ No. If you check , you can see it will automatically switch between them depending where the cursor is.

@@michaelgonzales1719 Please disregard my previous reply. You can connect with two different pc using bluetooth. You have to connect different pc to different port in the mouse. It will switch to different port , as per where your cursor is. I got confused with "receiver" with "port" . My apology.

Is it okay to connect 2 computer with 2 different Logi receivers? or 1 Logi receiver and 1 Bluetooth? Coz my computer at work only can connect with USB receivers

Do you use the same credentials between the 2 computers? Another question was about the easy switch button. I use it on my MX Keys S keyboard, and while frustrating to set up, I finally got it to work smoothly. In the dropdown for the Logitech Options, under link keyboard, does that allow the mouse to control the keyboard swap by moving the mouse? Thanks for the video. It helps with understanding how this all works.

I don’t use the same credentials. I believe mouse and keyboard swap works independently unless the new version of app have the feature.
