@JHPMedicalUK Yes, I will. This med is a calcium channel blocker, and the first side effects listed is constipation. If I've known that I would not have stayed on the medication for the few years I've been on it. As gut health means everything to me without it, your whole system is thrown off as it affects every organ in your body.

I have been on this drug since 2011, I never knew you took it for Angina. I had Angina attacks in 2011 when I was taking a chemo tablet, oncologist stopped the tablet and I spent 4 days on a heart ward being checked out, they found nothing wrong with my heart, so now I'm thinking my doctor skimmed over the report saw the word angina and decided I will put him on this drug.

@@amazingrace1958 I've also been taking amlodipine for about 10 years. I was also taking metoprolol but it just wasn't doing the job. It helped but BP was still high. So my Hospital pharmacist started me on amlodipine with the metoprolol. BP dropped to normal almost immediately. I haven't noticed any side affects at all. So am I showing off too??😥😢😥😱😱 😂😂😂 1:41

I’d question this basis. Our clinicians work within the NHS health service as fully qualified GPs. These videos are produced for the benefit of patients, in our doctors spare time.
