My BP earlier today was 144/89 and after trying the breathing exercise for a few minutes, it dropped to 127/92. After lunch is spiked to over 150, but doing the exercises it dropped to 132/87. A bit of bouncing back and forth but I'm hooked on the breathing. Think I'll text my doctor with some good news! Thank you!

I went to the doctor yesterday and got a reading of 182/74. I could feel that my BP was high. I was given meds and told to take my BP at home, morning and night, over the weekend. I’ve been doing so and the BP was reading on average about 152/77 (less nervous at home). I found this video and tried the breathing exercise. First without the breathing 162/82. Then I started the 6 breaths exercise. Within one minute: 129/69, 118/71 and the last one was 113/75. Amazing stuff.

@@amirsanchez8193 I am over 65, and amusingly, up until 2017, the acceptable BP for someone my age was 150/80. Overnight, in 2017, they reduced this to 120/80, regardless of age. They did the same thing with cholesterol, reducing the ‘acceptable’ level overnight, which, of course, created MILLIONS of new big pharma ‘patients’.

We live in Florida, the traffic is horrendous. Sometimes when I arrive at my doctor’s my blood pressure is high. I told her to take it again when I got ready to leave. I do some deep breathing while she is talking to me andIto her. At leaving, she again takes my blood pressure and its normal. Breathe, people breathe and relax your body. It works every time.

I have an appointment with my primary care physician this morning and I really didn’t want to go on medication but felt like it was the only option. I was fortunate to find your video and I did both exercises you suggested for about six minutes and had the first normal reading that I’ve had in three days 127/75. I've been through quite a journey oh it's too long to tell you but I just had heart surgery in November but my blood pressure is the main thing that is been a problem all along and it just wouldn't go down with all these medicines they had me on and they did the surgery and I had to stay on the medicines for a few months They just took me off the main medicine that was holding my heart rate down that they arrhythmia I come from from a shot I got at the back doctor that causes arrhythmias but long story short My blood pressure remains high and these breathing exercises I saw him on here one night and they have work for me I take now I take hydrochlorothiazide which is a water pill but it's for blood pressure as well and of course I'm taking magnesium and other things that I think might help but yeah the breathing exercises they don't keep it down They get it down for my doctor's appointment but they don't keep it down so the hydrochlorothiazide gets it down and then if I go to the doctor and it's high she told me the other day you're good you're good I hadn't even been breathing and she said you're 132 over 88 so it was that was probably from the hydrochlorazide It gets it down where you can at least work with it but sometimes mine is really high and I can sit and do it and it brings it down around 20 points in the morning when it's already high and I haven't had anything to get it down

I have done this breathing exercise and it does work. Also, when you go into the doctors office and they use that electric blood pressure cuff; it always raises your blood pressure higher then it really is. Request the nurse get the old cuff and pump it up herself. Get a blood pressure meter for home and check it daily. When I go into the office my blood pressure always reads higher in the office then at home. I had my home devise checked and it is correct. Some blood pressure medicine can also raise your blood pressure.... be aware of this.. Find out what your medicine takes out of the body and talk with your doctor and replace it if possible. Statins block your Coq10 and your heart is full of this to stay healthy. The Coq10 supplement many doctors recommend to patients when taking Statins. The New England Journal of Medicine stated that Patients need to be proactive in there health. We need to research and work with the doctor to make the best decisions for our optimal health. If you find yourself with a professional doctor they will look at your research. If they will not look at your research... you need to fire them and move on. It is very unprofessional for a doctor to not listen to a patient. God bless.

Be careful with co enzyme Q10. The las 2 years after exercise if I worked in the garden I would get a red flag situation. Breaking into sweat. And blood pressure going lower 90 over 55. With out it I was fine. Except after sleeping 170 over 100. Sometimes you are damed if you do and damed if you dont. There are many reasons. An besides retaining salt. Hormones can be out of tune. To find it you must chase it. Keep patterns the same. Dont eat margarine. Or butter. Eat Avacado on bread . Only a desert spoonful a day.

One alcoholic drink will also quickly lower your BP. After one beer my systolic and diastolic numbers usually drop by about 10 or more points. This is due to 2 things. One, alcohol has a relaxing effect which reduces anxiety and two, it is a vasodilator. "Vasodilation is the process which widens or dilates your blood vessels. However, if you drink in large amounts, alcohol can have the opposite impact on your vessels."

Well I can relate I’ve been having anxiety and depression all my life but mostly anxiety, I get it in waves some years are a little better and then some are so bad to the point I cannot leave my house sometimes, but I also have gotten white coat syndrome because a several years ago I had a abnormal interaction with a doctor and from then on my blood pressure readings were high in every doctors office now , I tell you they have to learn how to deal with people who have anxiety or white coat syndrome . The worst thing you can tell a person in that state is to relax because if I could wouldn’t I try to do that ? It gives me more anxiety I start to sweat I get out of breath it’s a horrible feeling so I sympathize with everyone it’s not easy, one day at time . The breathing dropped my systolic number by 20 points. It's always been relatively normal until the past week. I'm not on medication but recently went on a junk food binge of fast foods and frozen meals. I believe that is what caused this. I'm 69 years old and know better. I haven't eaten fast foods or frozen meals in many years. I had grown weary of cooking whole food meals and paying high prices for organic foods. I pray someday the poisoned foods are removed from grocery stores and organic foods become affordable for all. Hopefully in time to save the children of today.

I’ve been keeping my blood pressure low through breathing for close to 40 years. I learned how to do it when I was in my late teens and so I’ve just always done it. Always insist on a stethoscope reading don’t let them use the automated machine on you. They do not get accurate readings and you can end up medication you don’t need. also eat celery celery won’t give you low blood pressure, but it will lower high blood pressure. This works starts slow because if you’re on blood pressure medication and you have too much celery, it can lower it too much.

I think it’s called ‘white coat syndrome’ and it is quite common. Most doctors are aware of it so the best is probably to be honest with them about it…. If the doctor knows that you are nervous at the time of the test, they can adjust their interpretation of the results if needed. Another advice could also be to test yourself regularly with a home device, so you would feel psychologically better prepared for the real test (and the possible outcome).

I just recovered from a bacteria infection and it caused my blood pressure to go high. Top number was at 187. Right now my Dr. doubled my dosage and I’m monitoring my blood pressure. It’s better but I’m still taking double dose of my medication.

The breathing method works great for anxiety, blood pressure and pain. I get weekly therapeutic deep massages and use when something is painful in my muscles I breath in then breath out during the painful parts. It works for other pain as well whether because it distracts you or helps you calm down which also decreases pain. Swearing through painful moments is scientifically proven to help endure pain as well.

At 72 I decided to find myself a doctor. Wasn't easy. Found a "move in" that was building a practice. She's put me through every test Medicare pays for. First rattle out of the box was scrips for BP meds and statins. I started keeping track of my BP twice a day. I'm consistently below 130 over 60s. I've said no to the meds. I do a healthier diet and a little exercise now. Last time I was in, she said "It's been 6 months. We need to schedule you for another colonoscopy." I hope she didn't take offense when I laughed in her face.

I've never had high blood pressure; one doctor even told me they wanted me to eat more salt because my BP was very low. Recently, I have been going through some major dental care requiring me to drive in very heavy metro highway driving for an hour and a half one way. Nothing makes me more terrified and nervous as dental work (phobias from when I was a small child) and added stress of the driving has resulted in my BP being high when I get in to the dentist's chair and they measure the BP. It has always been higher when I go to see any doctor, but this combination has made it even higher than that (171/90 or thereabouts). Also, I found out recently that they should be using the LEFT arm instead of the right, which is what they have been doing. I have another appointment later this week and will do your exercises and report back, hopefully with better readings! Love your videos!!

I was over 300 lbs in my 30’s i smoked and had a pot of coffee a day. After about three appointments i was given 20mg of Benazepril. Was also told if i didn’t i would lose origins and eye site? Well i had a stroke because you have two arteries in your spinal cord and one is plugged. They never check these. Well taking my blood pressure i have learned with BP med plus counter med hair growing and thc/cbd tanked my blood pressure! So now i am weaning off my BP med! You slowed down my flow or velocity in my pipes and plugged them up! Now checking all day at rest it perfect! Please do this please remember BP is based on emotion and is a variable! You cannot determine a problem with only a few readings! Doctors do not make money if you’re healthy! Its a business! At 63 after a stroke i feel better feeding my brain with more blood with more pressure! You should see what my pressure is when i sing!!! Also tense up at doctors. Relax use this and have beets juice 100% juice only and try some Cayenne pepper and use Celtic salt for your salt!

Also keep in mind that when you take blood pressure the first time and then take it the second time (even 5-10min, after )the BP monitor WILL show lower readings. So most of them think this or any method has helped. NO!!! DO THESE EXERCISES FIRST and then take the readings for the first time! Most BP monitors show lower reading when taken the second time at a gap of 5 to 10 min!

If you read up on the proper way to take your blood pressure, it never goes down like that at the Dr's. I have white coat syndrome for over 10 years. I avoid medical check-up because I don't like the bp machine. As soon as the cuff began to tighten, my heart rate and BP shoot up. Even at home, it still increases my heart rate ti over 100. My resting heart rate is 50s to 60. My labs are consistently ok which means I don't have chronic HTN. Recently I need a surgery but they won't do it because of my white coat HTN. I have tried everything to calm myself but none worked. A necessary medical procedure shouldn't be denied because of a temporary high BP. I have been sick for a month and feel frustrated for not being able to get the treatment I need soon. 😞
