My plant has always given me some kind of issues. The lower leafs always drop . And it doesn't grow. The top looks great. It pretty but it just doesn't grow . The bottom ones always drooped too

Nice info. Mine is rolling nicely and this time of year I tend to give it more sunlight in these months. Pittsburgh doesn't get many sunny days. In summer I bring it down to medium light to avoid the "cooking "

Like I said in another Shefflera video, I had this friend when I lived in Houston from '75-'80 who had one. It was in a medium light situation but we never discussed what he did for it in terms of water or fertilizer. I assume he watered it once in a while and it stayed basically the same size all time! It always looked the same, next to his dining area. Like I said, we never discussed how he cared for it, so it must be a low maintainance plant. 🪴

@@strictlystarlight once a week is better but you can check with like a skewer stick if the soil is wet underneath. Cus you don't want to over water. You can also place ur pot on a bed of rocks or pebbles or get a humidifier for it if the air is dry.
