@@alexsamonas2536 Hey Alex, on our men's boots and goodyear welt dress shoes last spring we implemented preformed shock-absorbing antimicrobial 17 shore A poron insoles with an embedded custom-made shank for each last. We tested EVERYTHING and I don't think there is a better insole on the market. It's longer-lasting than leather. It has a better rebound effect than EVA and leather, and it's antimicrobial (leather can get mold and start to smell pretty fast). You shouldn't have a problem with the insoles but in the long term you need replacements we can have them sent! If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to us at [e-mail]

I was going back and forth between the Captains and the President for a long time but I decided to go with the flagship Captains. Unlike some of the other boots in their collection that can be harder to pull off, a pair of Captains will always look amazing. Hey TJ! The boots are highly water-resistant, but we do not say waterproof since the boots are welted and the welt creates a barrier between your foot and the outside. You can wear them in moderate rain and snow conditions with no issues but they're not designed to replace your snow/rain boots in really heavy conditions. Hope that helps clarify! I cannot find any information on whether applying a leather conditioner is acceptable for the Thursday President Boots in Tobacco. I do understand that they are of a rugged nature and also that they have a higher quality leather but a conditioner is not a cleaner. It is an agent to keep it hydrated so is that a way we can keep our boots supple?

Hey Cesar! We do suggest not to use any shoe care products on the Rugged Collection as it can change the characterisics of the leather. They really require minimal TLC. Thursday Boot Company I never use wax polish on oily leather. I have used Saphir oily leather cream in brown or black on occasion.

Hey Silva! Our Rugged Collection leathers (Terracotta, Arizona, Burnt Copper etc.) are so unique so we do not recommend applying any cleaning or protective products to them. To clean these leathers, you can use a damp rag to wipe them down, as well as a Horsehair Brush to remove any dirt on the surface. No, we have different cleaning instructions for our Rugged Collection (Arizona Adobe). To clean these leathers, you can spray the Leather Cleaner and use a clean Microfiber Cloth to wipe them down, as well as a Premium Shoe Brush to remove any dirt on the surface. Because these leathers are so unique, we do not recommend applying any conditioning or protective products to them. If additional cleaning is required, we recommend visiting your local cobbler or shoe repair shop so they can handle this professionally.

Thanks for getting in touch! We would recommend just wiping down your boot with a damp rag and brushing it with a Horse Hair Brush. You can also run your boots by your local cobbler to see what cleaners and brushes he recommends. I hope this helps!

Hey! A great thing to do is to test a small part of the leather first to see which color blends best. If you stop by a local cobbler he would be able to help provide a great match. We actually love the way conditioner works with the Natural. The Natural is made with Horweeen leather and they recommend Venetian Balm. The neutral works great. On our site, we sell Cobbler's choice conditioner as well!

Hey Richard! If you look at 0:38 seconds you see the Captain style fully restored after the conditioning. The style at the end of the video is our President style and it's separate from the actual cleaning. It's the style used in the exit footage but I'm happy to share your feedback with our team so we can show a better shot of the Captain boot towards the end of the cleaning.
