Yes, there are slight differences. For instance, most of our women's boots are not Goodyear Welted. There are also different styles for each line but the quality of the materials is the same!

Yes, that should work! For higher insteps pull on styles can be more challenging too so going with the wide would be a great idea :)

Is there a way to secure the tongue so one could go through a few inches of water? It floods a lot where I live. I am not talking about staying in the water for any length of time, just the ability to walk through it quickly quickly.

Our commander boots do feature a gusseted tongue and we will be making other options in the future. If you already own a pair of Captains you could take them to a cobbler to see if they could add a gusset for you!

Just got these in rocky road. I absolutely love these boots. I think a couple of options to add for these is increasing the toe box area. Toes feels alittle cramped. Maybe even having a mire squared off toe for them would really be nice. Be creative. Thank you thursday.
