Wow I had tried the window gently once or twice, but I was bending paperclips and destroying credit cards as fast as I could find them working on the door.... when I saw this video and went out to look, I had already worked the latch halfway up. I didn't even see it in the dark, but 4 or 5 good jiggles and I was in. That's what I get for having both sets of keys in my jacket. I guess I should fix my spare key situation and cut some dowels for the window frames in case anybody else tries. Thanks so much for the help!

Ok, so if you have the screen you should see like two metal tabs that fit into the frame on one side of the screen, the tabs will typically be bowed out a little and will flex, it is this flex that holds the screen in the window frame. So once you have located those tabs, put the side that has those tabs into the slot where the screen fits in the frame of the window. The screen should also have little metal handles that you can hold on to. Once you put the screen tab side into the frame, hold the screen by the little metal handles and ease the rest of it into the window frame slots, while you keep it pressed towards the side that you initially fitted in, the side with the metal tabs. After you get the whole screen in, just let it go and the tabs will push and keep the screen in the slot in the window frame….. I hope that helps =)

Fernando Elizalde yes, there are a couple metal tension spring things on one side of the screen frame. Put the side that has those into the groove Of the window and then just push it into that groove and then you should be able to to push the other side of the screen in and then let go and the tension metal tabs will hold it in place.

Also, just some advice, if you are sneaking out there is a reason you are sneaking, either it is because you know you are in the wrong and do not want to be caught, or you are in danger and do not want to be caught. If the former, I would advise you to not go against your parents orders, if the latter, please be careful and safe!
