Taking completed product photos has always been my biggest hurdles with in craft I want to share. Ill do wips all day but once its completed and I need to set up background, decide composition, lighting and all that jazz such a hassle. Love that tip will definitely take them to heart in the future! Keep up the good work.

Definitely great tips. One thing is lighting will always be a challenge, hard to find that sweet spot, sometimes I take any where from 1 to 50 shots of a product just because I am trying to find that right lighting setting. Like yesterdays post, I had three lights going to light the challenge coin, one for the entire setting, one for the background and one for the product it self. But yes I totally agree, the best camera is the one you have on you. You don’t need a big fancy 5 digit price camera to take product shots. We have people in our edc community who still use a canon rebel entry level camera and they take amazing photos… better photos than I will ever take in my eyes lol

Thanks, brother I appreciate that! I need more lights, then! Lighting is definitely the most important part, I find. I've always found it crazy what some people can do with a cheap camera!

Brilliant. Learned a lot. Thanks for the video. Could I ask a question please. How do you load your photo from the computer into Instagram. I thought it had to be from a phone? Regards Phil

Thanks Philip! I download the edited pics with my phone and post from there. I do think you can post from your computer too but I could be wrong.

I found this very interesting. I need more props for sure, better lighting & learn to take more photos. I use my phone which has a 48 mega pixel suite. I also need to get better at editing so thanks for the Snapseed tip. 🏴☠️

Glad you liked it! Lighting is an issue that still plagues me even with my big studio light 💀

good info, but as a photographer, I totally disagree with you about your comments on editing. If you set up the image properly, and also light the subject properly there is very minimal editing that needs to be done. and when it comes to instagram, unedited, or just slightly edited images are better because most of the people on instagram dont know what they are doing and end up going way too overkill on their images and they just dont look relatable and natural. aside from that, I think you did a great job with your video here.

Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback! It might be that proper lighting where I'm shooting has been a huge struggle. Totally agree with the over-edited pics. I used to oversaturate the hell out of mine and make them way too dark. I appreciate the constructive criticism!
