It’s been very difficult as a young 22 year old Christian man, since some self proclaimed “Christian” college men and women are living immoral lives aren’t living the way God is commanding them to live. They are too influenced by the world and some don’t want a genuine Christian partner. My church doesn’t have a lot of women my age and a lot of the congregation are in their 50s+ and married. Those that are my age already have a husband or a serious relationship. Walking by faith and not by sight has been something that God has been really teaching me, but it’s not easy at all. I know that God asks us to be patient with this, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ll be single forever like Paul. Thy will be done Lord

Often men in situations like yours will ask for recommendations from those older and married friends. If you haven't done that already I would pray and ask if you should take that action. Praying for God's blessing on your waiting!

I would say take your time and figure out the type of woman you want to marry. If you’re not patient you might end up marrying someone that isn’t right for you. There is someone out there for you. Just be patient.

I’m a young man still waiting for my lovely wife someday. Just the other day I was walking around and decided to remove my prescription glasses and put my sunglasses on which are not prescription. I couldn’t see very well but it reminded me of walking by faith instead of sight. Almost immediately and unexpectedly I was surrounded by beautiful women to talk to. I was so caught off guard that I was nervous and didn’t know what to say. So I mentioned to Sophie that I liked the cross she was wearing. I showed her mine, which was under my shirt. She was in a group with two others, and I asked if she’d like to go on a date but was told she has a boyfriend already. It was the most nervous I’ve been asking a girl out in a long time and I’m not sure why.

Here's what I've learned: you don't. Christian women, from what I've learned, are like deer (for the love of Martin Luther's reverse bowl cut, I know that it is not *ALL*). The slightest noise and they are bounding for the mountains. Unless they know you you should NEVER talk to them. Spend 1 full year in the church for them to finally accept you as an "acquaintance". Then another year to be "friends". And then MAYBE you'll have the opportunity to ask her out on coffee (which is basically a marriage proposal). The exception to this rule is if you are the most attractive guy on the planet. Then all of those rules fly out the window. If not? You get rejected and gotta wait a full year to ask another out. If you don't wait this full year that means you are a creep. remember: it is ALL about her. You gotta jump through every hoop to make her comfortable. you cannot expect her to do anything or be understanding at ALL. period. If you committ the cardinal sin of making her the slightest bit uncomfortable you are worhty of excommunication. also, you cannot LOOK like you are searching for a relationship because that is needy. So don't do anything that suggests you are looking. Be content and used to singleness. But at the same time you gotta go up and ask her out, though. And you also got to remember that God wants most people to be married and that only a few people are made to be single. So basically ask her out in a straightforward way without looking like you want a relationship somehow. And you must be content and happy with a state that most people are not made to live their life through and by the way if you're still single by 30 you aren't "trying hard enough" for something you apparently aren't SUPPOSED to be looking for and that you're "selfish" for not getting married to a woman you are not entitled to (but by golly it sure seems the church thinks *SHE* is entitled to *YOU*!). that's more or less what I have gotten from the church. The nuclear meltdowns I have seen in any church I've been to where I try and engage a girl are phenomenal. Unless I'm just either a) the most hideously ugliest man that ever lived or b) a secret psychopath that gives off those vibes and I have no clue that I am...it's never good. In the end...Pastors have learned just how much of their flock is actually saved when I become a member of their church... *sigh* I'm sick of bending over backwards to a sea of selfish stuck-up egotistical people who have convinced themselves that they are "pious". there is a reason why I keep to myself mostly...and act as I see fit.

I've taken it good enough though, as I wasn't super into her either. We didn't share the same political values, and that is important for me. My ex didn't like my Christian faith and that was a big part of why we broke up.

I tried to find women at Church and didn’t work out and I have experience lots of heartbreak and one way God helped me get over that was losing 70 lbs. And most of my heartbreak came from the women in church. I haven’t gone to church in a month to get over my heartbreak and focus on training and I can’t wait to go back. I am in better shape and brand new. Those women that broke my heart were used by God to break me so I can give him The Praise and Glory to Rise Up from The Ashes of Defeat. Same way God rose his one and only Son from The Dead

I don't want to talk to women now that I am a eunuch. I am actually afraid of women. I am an addict in recovery, and I want nothing to do with dating or long-term relationships. The recovery group I'm in recommends not getting involved in relationships. And my condition insures that I never will.

How would you suggest guys approach a woman inside church who didn’t show this type of signal? I sympathize with you brother, believe me. However, based on other comments I have read by you, how many times have you actually been rejected? And quite frankly I hate saying this because it’s so cliche, but the women that responded to you like that aren’t for you. With that said, I go as far as to say that those women prefer a man with a troubled past or a fresh convert. The reason I say that is because these same women act holier than thou and usually end up with a bad boy on the inside and tell men like us that maybe we’re meant to be single. I understand your temptation to date women of the world because to an extent they are less hypocritical than women in the Church when choosing men. I feel like this because I have the same luck as you, I am not perfect and I have things to work on regarding my character. I emphasize this because people like Sam, Vlad, or Mark the marriage Christian guru, although they are well intentioned, convey this message that you have to be “right” with God and yourself. I believe it’s a vague message because they base it of their experience because my experience has been that I have seen divorcees, drug addicts, adulterers, financially broke, promiscuous men find a spouse in Church. Are they in that state now? No, but they had a past or struggled with some of that when they found the one. So I hate thinking this way but I think that men who truly are well intentioned, sincere, and honest are the ones who struggle the most as we are told by our peers to not worry and that we just aren’t worthy yet. In Sam’s case, he had status via social media and he’s a good looking guy. It doesn’t mean that I take away the credit from God, but his circumstances definitely helped. I think the guy who does Men on a Mission here in YT is the most sincere man in this advice, so I recommend you watch him instead. I myself am not bad looking but truly believe women don’t find my personality attractive. I am sincere, my jokes are unique, and I am serious about world affairs. I notice that women like a man who is more clownish or childlike no matter his status and I don’t fit that description. It might be devil making me think this way but I just see the same type of man who gets the girl every time. The only women that struggle in singleness are the physically unattractive ones, men on the other hand can be charismatic in their way but if they don’t have this bad boy past or clownish attitude it is crickets. So I will pray for you brother. Aside my pessimism and assumptions, I believe that God has a very unique woman for guys like us. We’re the exception to the rule apparently. I am 32 and broke so… I haven’t lost hope.
