I watched this video yesterday and was like "yep tomorrow this will be my goal", walked into Badlands at noon server time and unitscan went off! Couldn't believe my luck!

When I hit level 37, I made my way to the Badlands, and after an hour of waiting... there he was. I made my way towards him, tamed him with no problems even at level 37, and then I went home with my prize :) I play on Golemagg, one of the most populated servers for EU, so I am surprised I got him so easily.

I woke up extra early. Flew to loch Modan, rode down and he was right there!!! Tamed him!! Yessssssss

Worked good for me. got the add on, went to the area and no show. figures so i stop eagle eye. and started run back and forth (eagle eye works fine on this) I was level 37 and all things in this area gave me XP so I start killing everything and skinning back and forth. I was there maybe 2-3 hours killing. then again went up the hill to use eagle eye. getting tired. and lord and behold used eagle eye on the area he showed in the video and unitscan rung Broken Tooth. sweat jumped down and tamed. as quickly as I could. The first time looking got in about 2-3 hours and yes works great. But sadly he looks like several other cats. But still it Broken Tooth feels good to get him when I know there were other hunters in the area asking when he was last out. Thanks for the video well did.

I got him this morning! Here's a handy trick that doesn't require an addon. If you set your minimap to Track Beasts, you will see all the animals show up in your eagle eye nearby including BT. Happy hunting!

just downloaded the app to find him. was looking manually in the spots above couldnt find him downloaded it and he wasnt in the spawn place on the usual spots and found him to tame him i was so lucky first look and try thanks for the knowledge it really helped.

Thank you so much for this guide; I just found and tamed him! Directly south of Angor Fortress. Roaming at 4am when nobody else is around helped too :D Unitscan is excellent , admittedly I nearly crapped myself with excitement when the alert sounded. Happy hunting!

Hahahaha I got mine last night in 2 1/2 hours with the eagle eye and unitscan addon. When those horns blasted my heart got pumping because I knew I got lucky and I managed to get hin after seeing 3 other hunters

TIP: Its possible to stand at one of the spawn points and still be able to eagle eye both of the other locations. So you can leave your computer for a bit and still have a 1 in 3 chance of getting the unit scan alarm, and then just periodically come back and check your other two locations. If you go to Location #1 on your map, hike up into the hills to the east, its possible for you to eagle eye both other locations.

Then there's my method, head to the bad lands right at 37 , get ganked by a team of lvl 60 alli, get fedup and start heading home; BT casually strolls in front of me.

Broken Tooth damage is normalized. He doesn't do more damage than any other cats. He attacks faster, but the attacks are weaker. The other ones attack slightly slower but does slightly more damage. It evens out. His only real use is for harrasing casters in PvP and pushing back their spellcasts

Yeah. You'll notice I didn't say he deals more base DPS than other cats. I said cats have the highest DPS out of any pet, (tied with raptors), and Broken Tooth has the highest attack speed of any cat. In addition to harassing casters in PvP, he also procs frenzy more often, which farther increases his attack speed. More frenzy procs DOES mean more DPS than other cats. It's not a super significant amount, but any Hunter running frenzy while leveling/raiding will pull better numbers with broken tooth than any other cat because of this.

@@Brobson You definetly do not need Broken Tooth to have a 100% uptime of Frenzy. I only have it 4/5. It has an 8 second duration. A cat of any atkspd not critting for 8 seconds is unheard of. It's never not up. Anyway wasn't trying to discredit your video. Broken Tooth is definetly the GOAT when it comes to PvP, at least until ZG comes out. My point was just there is no real point in spending a potential huge amount of time waiting for the spawn, if you have no intent to do PvP.

Once you get frenzy up then yeah, most cats will keep it up 100% but 1.0 attack speed helps to get the buff quicker at the start of the fight, helps with aggro etc while soloing.
