As a shredder that lives in Ohio, we don't get enough snow to ride anything other than ice, soft spots on the mountian dont exist. For anybody that wants to learn these that lives is similar conditions, try to find a really really small jump. Like one that has less than 5-10 feet of space between the ramp and the landing, almost to the point where its not even really a jump. After doing all these steps, thats where i learned them. Shoutout to all the midwest shredders.

I've been able to do these for like 5 years, but only off small park jumps because it gives you the pop, even if you throw your momentum downward. I'm definitely not there yet for small rollers and such, but practicing nollies all over the mountain really helped me get a bit closer. Thanks for the tips!

No really, I've seen soooo many tamedog vids where they describe it as a 3 step process and then you "just do it" That was a great, well spoken, informative lesson. I like the INTRO on this vid: It makes you instantly not so “school oriented” which is of course toxic to snowboarders like me who failed out of high-school because they only focus on snowboarding, including silent video learning/streaming of SA instructional vids while the teacher thinks you’re reading cause you can hide a Cell phone behind your book or underneath your desk. Hey, BTW, you should teach new riders how to ditch class and or focus on snowboarding while you’re in it. That might help a lot of people who truly need a more “snow-based” environment in order to learn! Keep it up guys and soon there will be a psychological Diagnosis written into the extreme psychological/mental health problems book that assists snowboarders who obviously can only learn in the snow environment. You’re helping “Snowboard/snow necessary learners” to advance in life even though they can only do it on snow.

I found front flips to be harder to do than back flips because you see where you land better on back flips. Good tips. I wonder if I'm watching this due to snow deprivation. Odd thing to say from Sweden.
@KaiserinAstrid11 жыл бұрын
People are apprehensive about backflips in general because I suppose it's a rare movement naturally. I think I'll be a little afraid to do anything crazy, at least at first, after messing up my knee. :(

Its all about commitment, pretty low impact trick if you commit to the flip. I can do it off a ton of features now. For me the 2 keys to locking it down are 1. committing 2. REALLY nollie into it. load your back and then throw yourself into the nollie for the best rotation :D
