I think paper tape lays down flater than fiberfuse but it's more difficult to complete plaster, sand and paint with paper same day. Fiberfuse is more forgiving for the average DIY but to lay it flat, the mud needs to be thinned out.

@@EricBanner571 I just use quick set 90 to tape if I want to finish same day. Tape with 90, coat maybe, then box mud on final.

Hawk way more natural to hold too than a pan.
