How To Teach Your Budgie To Talk!

For everyone that had sent a direct message via Instagram & Facebook asking how I trained Mr. Poof, here is a video hopefully answering your questions.
This is my first time doing a video so please bare with me! :)

the budgies here do that when I make noises to them, they close their eyes, I try teach the street fighter 2 sounds , so far no luck I've spent ages trying to teach them, some clown taught one of them to say hey bird, so fuckin lame, if somebody hears a budgie say that they won't even care, the yellow one says that, it has red eyes, the blue one is a male, it's protective of her he's always nibbling at her face and beak, he makes a jumble of sporadic noises and sometimes bobs his head up and down when he does that,

When I first got my budgie, he wouldn't come to me or talk. It took a few months, now he wouldn't leave me alone and he talks a lot. He is so loving. I need to get him some bird diapers, so he wouldn't make a mess around the house. He likes to watch everything that I do.

Awww so cute! Remember not to leave bird diapers on all the time, because they can cause multiple issues. Research or read for more info. So if you are going to put them on, leave them for a bit and then take them off..

My budgie also spoke many words. He lived for 8 years and then died earlier this year (2017). I didn't teach him specifically any words but he learned them himself whatever the children at our house used in daily talking. He also won a pet show award due to talkative nature. +Alicia Lapingcao If you have not trained your Budgie, it will try to get away from you. Did you try first allowing your Budgie to get used to you? Putting your finger in the cage until he or she hops on your finger? You have to train your Budgie, they are wild birds and if you simply open the cage, they will try to fly away. There are steps and lessons you must learn first before thinking it safe. Your budgie must learn to trust you first.

Part the birds up so they cannot see or here one another. Two together will be hard to teach and I do not think you ever will. They will just keep talking together in their own language . If you have one already talking and put it with another it will pick up what he says.

I have a 6week old budgie, and it impresses me cause evrytime he's cuddling with me, he lays down on his side with his legs stretched out(just like a human) 2 take a nap. he's now learning how to talk. he's a hand raised budgie due 2 the fact that his mother abandoned him when he was 2days old. I've taken care of him ever since. He loves riding in the car, and when he's on the floor and i call him( his names Pinky) instead of flying 2me, he comes running. looks so funny. looking forward to upload some vids soon.

That is probably a male with the blue over his beak. Mine was just like him and his name was Tiki. Was the mosty amazing pet I have ever had. Just remember, sometimes when they are sitting in their cage with an open door, that is their domain, and they may be possessive of their cage/domain. Don't forget they need their nails cut, if you don't have a rough perch. Plus, if they are alone they need lots of love. I got my budgie a fake plastic bird for his cage and that really helped when he got feisty. Thanks for your post. I miss my baby terribly. Maybe I will try again.
