Such a great video and a simple way to teach sit. Our 10 year old corgi passed back in December. This past weekend my wife and I went and picked up a new a new corgi puppy. She's ridiculously smart, and energetic. Using this method, not only does she now understand sit and stay, but she understands them in both English (my native language) and Japanese (my wife's native language) and we've only had her in the house for 3 days! I love how you explain each step little by little and once you actually say the command they already understand it because you just showed them so patiently and consistently. You really break it down to us how to break it down to them. I'm getting frustrated with my puppy, but that's my own fault for not being a good teacher. The most striking part of this is how you only have to say the command calmly and gently and they will listen- if you train them correctly. Thanks for showing me how.

Just from my experience, I have found some puppies learn much quicker then other puppies. It also depends a lot on how much the puppy loves you and trusts you and how much the puppy wants to show you they listen and learn and wants to please you, and not just for the treat. Patience is also very important and not to use harsh words or show anger if they don't get it right away

I just wanna share this. I have 6 dogs. 4 of them knows how to sit because someone trained them. The 6th dog is a Husky pup. I watched this video 2 times to train my husky pup, Laika. Guess what? They are exhausting, demanding but lovable companions. But they are not only there for you to play or train all day. They are living beings. And only who respects that and is aware of the HUGE responsibility and amount of work they demand, is really ready to have one.

Also look for cheap dogs online maybe Craigslist cause on there they can be free or less than like 300 so that's good. And even better, look in shelters. Always look there first. I love your videos Zak! I have pretty much binged watched all of them! They are super useful as I will be getting a puppy soon! But I do feel like some of these videos are becoming very repetitive. You have so many videos in the past that relates to how to teach the puppies the basics - sits, stay, down, wait..etc (the videos are named differently, but they are essentially the same thing!)
