Thank you for this info it’s helps women, I replaced one side on Chevy suv, but it was acting exactly like what u explained, plus my front tire keep looking air, over bump shakes a lot, getting it repair right now and the guy show me the oil coming out, so it’s bad- thank you so much!

I keep hearing a loud thud coming from the right Rear when I go over bumps potholes etc. Could that be shocks?

Shocks or probably shock top mount

Hey, my car rear strut is toast or the top mounting plate for shock is gone... I can grab just under the top of the shock where it mounts to the plate and spin it around and what not or if i grab the wheel and simulate bumping you can see and hear it moving around(Top of shock), i dont know if its the shock or the bushing that go inbetween the top of shock... I am also thinking that it could be the top bolt has come loose on the shock/strut allowing it to have play it clunks and knocks pretty good when hitting the slightest bump...

That is your upper shock mount. Had that issue on my 2011 ford edge
