Nice vid man! i have a truck and everytime i go over a bump it makes a really weird sound like 2 metals hitting each other, like something is lose, but i had a friend jump on the back while i laid under, and the sound seems to be coming from the rear shock. so is it posible for it to be sounding like 2 lose parts smacking each other? also theres a very small leak on it.

My car suddenly started to slip on turns and I thought it is because of wet road or wrong tire pressure, however someone told me to check shock absorbers, and This is the best detailed explanation I have found so far that gives exact idea why my car slips... one side simply goes too low but other side does not press against road proportionally, so turn is taken by one wheel simply saying. . . of course, it will not handle load... Bleed the fronts and rears. If the rear drum shoes push pins are out of the boots the brake cylinder will go past its seal and leak fluid/suck air. So bleed them and check the rear drum cylinder for missing parts. cause the springs will pull the drum shoe onto the cylinder so they will kind of work. But it will habitually let air in even if you bled them aa million times. Check the rears. 7 ton jaw puller to get old ones off rented of autozone.

Small correction, springs are good at storing and releasing energy. They bounce back and forth because springs are great at “resonating” at a specific frequency. The purpose of the shock is to cause those resonances to decay, so the spring doesn’t bounce back and forth all day. If you had just springs, your car would just keep bouncing at a specific frequency. You can see this in videos of SUV’s with blown rear shocks. It just keeps bouncing. Other than that this is a fantastic video! I’m putting new shocks and struts on my Corolla soon and your info is super helpful!
