A fantastic drill there mate!! I’m really struggling with hitting the ball straight at the moment. I seem to be slicing the ball a lot lately since the courses opened back up in England. Cheers for all your great advice buddy!! Keep the great videos coming mate!!

All this is well and fine in practice...but what about when youre playing? Great video!

You have to practice it just like anything and work on transferring it to the course. No magic pills on this one. It takes constant work 👍

Excellent video!! I mark a red cross (St. George for England) on my golf balls to help me with alignment when playing on the golf course.
@wadeparham49705 жыл бұрын
How does this help, George?
@robertbrusellenglishguitarist5 жыл бұрын
@@wadeparham4970 Hello Wade, it does not help George, but it helps me. Of course, you can only use the cross for alignment on the tee & on the green. Stand behind the ball and align one line in the direction of travel. Then stand opposite the line at 90° which should square you up to the intended line of ball travel. My putting average for 18 holes is 34.5 so far this year, 34.6 last year, which is not bad for a 28 handicapper.

Great video, I’m an eight handicap and I still feel like I’m struggling with seeing a square club face at address, I will definitely use this T drill, I had something similar but I put the two alignment rods together so I will leave a gap where the ball sits... I would also look at my toes for alignment, so I will try to start looking at my ankles as a reference instead
@TheWedgeWizard Жыл бұрын
I’d want that outside stick just right, parallel to the target line, not right at it. Same with hips, feet, shoulders obviously, but just left parallel. Also essentially where the ball starts is where the face is aimed at impact, Simple as that. Of course you want your set up square to your target line but as far as knowing if your face is square through the ball, wherever it starts is where your face is basically (assuming fit lie angles).

Lol 😂 yeah Alex just set up for a draw and give yourself a good percentage of error to play with it’s not exactly a sweet science if your are not a regular player that can tell the difference between strikes and alignment better to draw and be closed than loose distance the other way 😎

Hello, what’s your opinion on Jack’s advice to have the clubface slightly open at address?
@Quadfather20165 жыл бұрын
Do you end up adjusting the station after every few shots? It seems like after a few shots, you would need to move the line between your feet back to get away from the divots.
@MikeBuryGolf5 жыл бұрын
CRope4clemson Great question! I’ll slide the alignment stick that is perpendicular to the target line back a little so I can hit a few shots. Then I’ll move it back (further away from target) and hit from behind the divots I just made.
