You have some of the best videos, you always just get to the point no BS or show boating like many do on your tube. This video is very helpful. I had a pole in my basement with no issues. Moved to a different place in an older building on the 2nd floor and the pole started to fall down in the middle of my training 😲😲, luckily I was able to catch it. My husband said it was caused by the house shifting during the season change, whatever the reason, I'm always checking poles before I get on them.

We have a 10ft ceiling where the pole just been installed. Everything seems good with the push-pull spin routine. We just noticed there's a slight shake and wobble in the middle of the pole when using. The top portion doesn't move though which is good? We just want to make sure if this sounded like something normal with a tall ceilings, or maybe that was a sign of being over tightened.

The taller the pole the more give it will have. Make sure to check your pole every time before you practice. :)

Thanks! LOL at the video clips in there! I am taking your online classes and I have a portable spin pole and it started hanging up/stalling at times when spinning. I think I need to oil the thing or something? Guess I need to take it out and look at the bottom of it and see what's up.

;) You're welcome. This video is on the website too if you want to save it. Most quality poles will have ball bearings and shouldn't need additional lubrication. The pole could be warped or the spin mechanism isn't very good.

Do you have tips for tightening a pole that’s already been installed? It’s removable, the instructions say to tighten/check the pole every 30mins. I am not sure if I’m suppose to loosen screws before turning the pole counter clockwise(tighten) or leave the screws as they are and turn the pole counter clockwise?

Try and put a piece of wood between the top dome and ceiling so it disperses the weight evenly and not make cracks or damage to your ceiling

I've tested my xpole so many times and it still manage to come down when I swing. I think its my ceiling because its concrete and not gripping that well. I want to try the grip liner you put in cabinets to give the silicon something to grip on besides the concrete. I put it on the bottom of the pole (my floor is really slippery because its concrete as well. I live in a loft with 11ft ceilings), and it didn't budge but the dome did when I pulled on it. I'm getting quite frustrated with this and I love my loft. Worst case scenario, ill just use the pole for conditioning and avoid swinging and a lot of spins

Is it alright to have it on the tighter side? Last time I loosened and tested it, all seemed well until it eventually started tipping one night. Just want to be safe!
@StudioVeena7 ай бұрын
Of course the pole needs to be tight enough where it won’t slip but pole need to be checked before every use . Plus if you have a pole that isn’t from a major manufacturer like xpole or lupit cheap poles are notorious for falling down no matter what you do!!! Cheap poles need to be checked even during your pole sessions.

So how much bending is ok cos my husband who is twice my weight did the push-pull thing and it went waaay bendy. I'm a bit worried that'll actually break the pole from the joints.
@StudioVeena3 жыл бұрын
Flexing/bending isn't a problem and depending on the diameter and height of the pole and what it's made out of you'll get more or less flex. You're looking for sliding of the top or bottom.

@@StudioVeenathis is kind of reassuring. I'm using a yaheetech now, and they're instructions are just awful. The pole is secure tension wise but it's very lose the middle. I'm so used to xpole it that uses their patent joints to keep the center of the pole from moving. I reached out to yaheetech about it and they just said to check the screws.. I was like what screws? There's only two screws I see and those just hold the top cover plate in place. This is damper on my plans for the evening. 😂🤦♀️
