I bought my pole 3 years ago and I love my X-Pole, I just bought a new house and went from a 9" ceiling to a 12"6" ceiling and Roxanne the Rep was great at shipping the commercial grade extension I needed! I am a Arial silk dancer! I highly recommend them! I believe I have never taken it out of spin mode!! FYI I am 57 so you are never to old to learn to fly!

as a small addition to the stainless steel, both the x-pole and the lupid are hypoallergenic. the allergy trigger nickel is not present at all or only in such small amounts and bound in the alloy that there are no problems. i myself am more of a fan of the lupid poles because they transmit the rotation in a much more controlled manner and maintain it for longer. the qicklock system allows you to switch from static to spinning and vice versa with just one hand movement, even during the choreo.
@Elizabeth_BFit Жыл бұрын
Enrico thank you for that info on the hypoallergenic aspect. That is super helpful. I 100% agree on the spin with the lupin. My home Xpole is fantastic but I have found that not all spin as smoothly vs I've found more of a consistent spin with the lupin poles. That of course can be impacted by how the pole is installed too though.

This is a great, informative video! I always wish I had researched finishes more before going for my powder-coated pole. I just assumed it would be grippier and it feels super slippery to me!

You are so not alone with your pole finish struggle! I so wish there was a pole store we could all go "shopping" in like a mattress store so that we could try out all the different poles and finishes and see how they feel for us.

Hi ! I want to buy a pressure pole because I don’t want to leave marks on my Ceiling nor my floor (my landlord won’t allow it) but I’ll not lie to you, i have chills only by thinking of it getting loose while I’m practicing and me falling down… for context I’m a beginner, I want to buy it because the classes nearby are not in my budget right now and I feel like I can take some online classes at home. My ceiling is not too high I would say 7 feet
@Elizabeth_BFit Жыл бұрын
The X-pole pressure poles are super secure and safe as long as installed correctly. They come with installation instructions that are super easy to follow. I had my pressure pole up in my previous place that was a rental for almost three years and there wasn't a single mark left from it when I took it down. You just have to make sure that it is installed directly under a ceiling stud so that it doesn't impact your ceiling. A pole at home is a great way to start and you can do so much even with only 7 feet!

Thank you so so much for sharing this elizabeth! I currently have a powder coated white pole and it still burns my skin SO BAD after a year of using it. So I have no choice but to buy a new pole! Thinking about titanium gold but can't find anyone that's used it..
@genesis4ndrea2 жыл бұрын
I have a titanium gold x pole and it’s definitely different to the powder coated ones, and to me just like the chrome ones, just different colour. I’ve used powder coated before and it does burn more than chrome 🥴 I guess one of the point of powder coated is to help grip? Hope it helps.
@Elizabeth_BFit2 жыл бұрын
I have not tried the titanium gold. Have you posted a question about it in pole groups? If you have not done so already, I’d love to have you join my EBFit private Facebook group and share your videos there for celebration, feedback and pointers. This would be a great place for you to ask other polers about their experience with the titanium gold. Make sure you answer the FB group questions so I know you are a fellow poler 😉 facebook.com/groups/EBFitPolers/

Hi, thanks for your video. I have a question. Another person said the pressure pole cracked her ceiling (same brand pole as you ) so now uses wood in-between the ceiling and the pole, but you or Any other vids ive watched don't use wood in-between. It's left me confused and scared 😂 can you offer any insight on this as I don't know what to do now
@Elizabeth_BFit Жыл бұрын
I haven't had any issues with mine but it also is well squared with a stud in the ceiling. If not directly under a stud the ceiling is very likely to crack and the pole is likely to not be secure. If you're unsure on installing I'd recommend having a construction say person help with locating the best place to put your pole so that it will be less likely to cause damage and more likely to be safe and secure.
@Blvckheartpoler Жыл бұрын
@Elizabeth Blanchard hey, I did more research after my question and your right it's because of the stud. I will have it installed by a professional aswell just to be on the safe side. Thank you x

Not sure of the exact measurements and won’t be back home to my pole for a couple more weeks. But I would say it is pretty close to 12 inches in diameter.

Hi I’m a beginner , and I ordered an xpole . I unfortunately got a stainless steel and I heard I should of gotten a chrome one . How can I help with the slip ? When I am practicing . I also opened the pole already and put it up so I’m not sure I can bring it back .
@Elizabeth_BFit Жыл бұрын
There's no one pole finish that is necessarily best. Personally I love stainless. My first recommendation is using rubbing alcohol to clean the pole and your hands before and throughout every training session. I find that most new poles take a while to "break in" and start to feel grippy. So be patient with yourself and your grip will improve over time. You can also try some of the pole grip aids to help with your grip but my number one recommendation to start with is just using the rubbing alcohol on your hands and the pole. If you want some grip recommendations, I'd recommend checking out my pole grip review video if you haven't already. Here's the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJ21m6WCnd2JecU

I wanted to be a number 1. But ended up as a number 2 person, cuz none of the studios near me offer classes that would work with my work times. Cuz they are all more late in the evening and I am a nightshift worker. Soooo... I would be late to work. I am very happy with my X-pole. Tho def need to work on my strength x3

Does the chrome peel?
@Elizabeth_BFit3 ай бұрын
This is my third chrome pole in over a decade, three different size poles, and I've never had an issue with peeling. You do want to make sure you take off any jewelry before poling tho because it can scratch or gouge the pole, damaging it.

Thank you for this video! I'm thinking about buying the x Stage from x Pole because my ceiling in the rented apartment is not so good. What do you think of the stages? And which material can you recommend for very sweaty skin? Thanks in advance
@Elizabeth_BFit Жыл бұрын
Personally I think the stages are a great alternative. My biggest concern when I'm using a pole stage is tripping off the stage but that's because I am SUPER uncoordinated on my feet. LOL. For that reason I prefer a fixed pole but other than that stages are fantastic. I have one by Stage that I currently only use for photo shoots and used for outside poling during Covid era. As far as finish for sweaty skin that really varies person to person. I've hear many polers say that the silicone is very helpful with that, which it is, but it also is not gentle on your skin when you want to slide or transition in some moves. The upside to a stage pole is that you can have multiple poles to switch out on the stage. I have a chrome and a silicone covered one for mine.

The X-pole and Lupit brands are my recommendation due to safety concerns. There are a number of cheaper options but so many of them aren't made with safety in mind.

Xpole makes them for 11 foot ceilings! You just have to contact them directly since it is a custom height. I'd recommend going with a 38/40mm pole if you have little hands.

Should be but always check with the pole manufacturer to make sure it is approved for those specs and of course make sure it is installed correctly under a support stud.

Is the tension pole bolted in or done strictly by pressure?
@Elizabeth_BFit2 жыл бұрын
There are options for both. My pressure pole is not bolted in but is instead purely from pressure. But mine is only 9feet/3meters. For taller pressure poles it's recommended to also add bolts for safety.
@Elizabeth_BFit3 ай бұрын
It depends on the tension pole but for lower ceiling height they can be 100% pressure alone. Mine that I've used on an 8ft and 9ft ceiling is 100% tension with no issues but I make sure to check it every time I train. My newer 15.5 foot pole is on a ball and socket like attachment at the top and pressure at the bottom.
