Will these tests work on a frog that has passed? I'm treating my tank and other guys anyway, but it would be good to know if I'm treating for the right thing or if I need to get looking. Other little guys aren't symptomatic but I'm not risking it.

@ Andreas Linden, Pixie and Pacman Frogs can breed year round, but do best in spring, summer and fall. North American Tree Frogs generally breed during the spring, while more tropical species like it to be warmer to breed, so summer would be the best time. Was there a specific species you were looking to breed?

@undine price, I have a group of Southern Toads that are starting to breed right now, and if we get luck they are due to lay eggs in about 2-3 weeks. Only time will tell! If they do breed I will have the tadpoles and baby toadlets available.

If you're testing more than one frog it's important to wear gloves and change gloves between each frog, otherwise your swab will be contaminated

Frogs are the best things ever -anyone that doesn’t think so is very strange to me they’re such calm peaceful animals they’re just so awesome
