Thank you!!! for this great video. Straight forward to follow on the basics of how to use a Multimeter Voltage Tester. Your information is free and invaluable BIG THANK YOU. I'm a complete novis with car electrics and cars. However, I built up confidence to install 2 Filters ( Cabin and Air) myself thanks you amazing people on KZbin like your good self. Having car AirCon problems so plan on testing AirCon components (Fuse, Relay, Resistor, Blower Motor Fan) for Voltage.

Fast Rust, much appreciation for your video on this test, earlier today I did the same thing adding to male ends on two ends of about 8ft of wire just so I could verify the correct wire to my vw ignition switch, and wanted to be sure I was using the correct setting on my multimeter for this task, I did the job and verified I had the correct wire, but other video's were using the Ohm's setting...so when I saw your video, ah jackpot...thanks again, and keep them coming.

I have a 1988 Nissan Sentra with a 1.6 L engine and it has the same type of grey connector that you were holding in your test. Do you know what it’s called and do you know how to release the terminal from the connector? I’ve been watching a lot of videos for techniques on releasing terminals and none of them cover this type of connector. If you don’t know could you direct me to a video or a site that might have information on this type of connector and terminal? I have a wire that needs replacing and I love this car. It’s a Time Machine with a single speaker a.m. radio. I don’t wanna change a thing. I just want to keep it running for as long as I can. Thank you so much for a great video that not only showed me how to use the same multi- meter that I have but by some miracle the same type of connector that I’m working with. Thank you so much again for a great video and for your time!

Having guessed that the viewer is a beginner ( 1:40 ) your use of words like resistance and spade and alternator is liable to lose your audience. This video seems far more suited to someone with a deal of experience.

The 1 (one) is not a 1 on your meter when set to ohms. It’s an I (i) for Infinity, representing an open circuit.
@Dog-whisperer7494 Жыл бұрын
@@gabrieleguevarajr1996 also you don’t measure continuity with your meter set to measure capacitance. he should have set it to the lowest ohm setting ie 200 ohm . He needs to learn how to use a multimeter properly.
