Yes. But don’t rely on break. Rely on the probes. Relying on just breaker for maintenance will eventually fail you and shock you or kill you. So always rely on the probe, breaker kills power but sometimes you just don’t know who has rigged shi up so always test

This video is dangerous! 1) You tell people to disassemble a hot socket which will result in electric shock most likely. 2) Why would you disassemble it in the first place? You can do it the very same diagnostic without disassembling it.

He did say wear protective shock resistant gloves. And you do need to disassemble the socket to find out and mark which wire is the hot one, you can't do that if it's assembled.
