Unfortunately one particular scene Ace actually broke that Law of - saying less than necessary. When Calvin robbed him. Ace should've never disclosed to Calvin that he knew it was him behind the mask. He should've kept that to himself. Calvin initially had no intentions of killing/hurting Ace until Ace blew his cover - it put Calvin in a position where he had no choice to finish off the job. Foolish decision by Ace, he cracked under pressure.

Ace made several mistakes. One of them was thinking that because he got shot that he could just stop the game. The other thing is something the real Ace said himself, he said they were preparing for trouble from the outside, but they never thought about it coming from within their circle. By the way, the real Rico, who was called Alpo, has a KZbin video where he is describing how he killed Rich Porter. He's been out for a while now. It didn't take place the way it was portrayed in the movie. Look it up.
