Alfie is my favourite character from the show. I always got the impression that, while he seems like a testosterone-fuelled creature of unpredictable rage, in reality he's very calculating and knows exactly what he's doing. Tom Hardy deserves every award available for his portrayal of Alfie, there are times in the show where he's so aggressive that he makes my heart beat faster just watching him.
