Thank you. I missed some of them while threading and was not able to stich anything as the thread keeps breaking. Now it's working perfectly after following your instructions. Thank you.

Thank you! Can you do a video on how to wind the bobbin
@ozcommercialsewingmachines3 жыл бұрын
I have just uploaded a video on how to wind a bobbin. I did it on a different machine but most of the JACK machines wind bobbins the same so it should help.

Can u guide for trim functuon
@bellaflonta98472 жыл бұрын
I was wondering if you can let me know why my A4e lets the thread come out of the needle after trimming, thanks , ana
@ozcommercialsewingmachines2 жыл бұрын
It means either your pre-tension is way too tight or your main tension release is not working correctly.

Thanks for all the JACK video clips they are very very useful and easy to follow. Could you explain what the Upper of the two thread tensioners is for I have seen that on a JUKI this is to set the amount of thread remaining at the needle, is it the same on the JACK. I have an A5E but the manual does not describe how to set this tensioner, Thanks.
@sharonmiller11403 жыл бұрын
Hi Dennis. The first tension on the JACK is the same as the Juki, to regulate thread out of the needle once cut. There should be very little tension on the thread through here, enough so that there is about 1 inch of thread from the needle eye after cut. Hope this makes sense.
@denishill43723 жыл бұрын
@@sharonmiller1140 Thanks for that Sharon. I think I was not bold enough with it so it had almost no tension. There is about2 inches left after the cut at the moment so I will increase the tension and see how it affects the length, I was unsure what it may affect so was being very cautious with it. Thanks again for your reply.

I'm curious what differences are between the A5E & A4E?
@ozcommercialsewingmachines2 жыл бұрын
There are a few differences, the A5E has a semi-dry sump which means it is fully enclosed where the A4E has a wet sump, also the A5E has a larger harp area to the A4E. The stitch functions are all the same though between the two machines. Hope this helps.

I'm so thankful for your channel! I have a A4 machine and was so frustrated because all the tutorials were not in English. I would love to quilt on my machine but I'm not sure how to lower the feed dogs and set the machine up. Can you help? Possibly to a video?? Thanks!!
@ozcommercialsewingmachines2 жыл бұрын
Industrial machines do not have a drop feed feature, it is only possible by lowering the the complete feed dog carrier, and would not recommend this. If you are wanting to do free motion work, just set the stitch length to “0.0” and fit a FMQ type foot, it will work beautifully. Thank you for the suggestion, we will make a video on this.

Can you please make more videos for F4 jack machine I’m buying one but all the videos I found are different language thank you!!
@ozcommercialsewingmachines3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ruth. The JACK F4 machine doesn't have any of the extra buttons and such that these videos are about but you can use the threading video as the JACK machines all thread the same way. I don't have an F4 to do any videos on I'm sorry.

Thank you for this video. It confirms that my A5E is threaded correctly - but can you help at all with the problem I’m having with my top thread constantly snapping/pulling out of the needle? I had a WhatsApp video call with my supplier because I’m getting a bulky slub of cotton at my start tack. They told me to turn the thread tension knob clockwise to resolve this. It definitely has not resolved anything and now it doesn’t seem to matter how much I adjust the tension knob either way… my top thread can’t manage a couple of rows of stitching without snapping. Can you please advise?
@zaradickinson3 жыл бұрын
Ah I’ve solved it - I don’t know what the nipper is but switching it off has removed the slub on the start tack, and stopped it snapping my top thread!
@ozcommercialsewingmachines3 жыл бұрын
@@zaradickinson , you may still need to check all your tensions again to check that the bobbin tension is around 23 - 25 grams as it may be too tight. The pre-tension disks may also be too tight, you don't need much tension on this one. When you are running auto back-tacks with the trimmer and nipper turned on you will always get the wad of cotton at the start tack. There is an A5 model that comes with an "anti-birdsnest" attachment which stops this from happening in full automatic. Hope this helps.

Well hm, my button doesnt work to bring the needle down to pull up bobbin thread either. I watched this entire video just to see the proper way to pull up the bobbin thread on this machine. Can anyone tell me the secret to this?
@ozcommercialsewingmachines Жыл бұрын
The buttons don't work until you have started sewing the seam. If you want to bring the thread up you have to do it manually by turning the hand wheel towards yourself.

@@ozcommercialsewingmachines Thank you!! Im really trying to give this machine a chance but its been pretty frustrating so far. Im starting to think I may never get used to it. Perhaps Im too old school. I tend to enjoy my Consew more with no bells and whistles. Thank you so much for responding!
