Hey toby. Got a bit of an older one in heritance. Just spent time lubing and fixing it and thanks to you ican sow with it thanks. You should explain the loader on the front. It works by pedalling backwards (towards you) to respool the original carrierspool with new thread.

That is a handsome machine in very condition for it's age. The access cover to the left of the hand wheel is a novel and unusual shape. If you make sure the shuttle is in the correct position when removing the fabric, it will pull out easily. You learn that after using long shuttle machines quite a bit. Those stitches are not looking that consistent on the first fabric Do the tension leaves have thread grooves in them ?
