HOW TO THROW A CAST NET (EASY, DRY & NO MOUTH)

In this short video, I'll show you in what I think is the best & easiest way to throw ANY size cast net. No need to put the dirty lead in your mouth or around your shoulder. With this method, you will stay 100% dry!
Cast net used in this video is a 9 ft Mullet net.

Who is that masked man? 😄 I've worn out my 67 year old shoulder learning how to throw my 8' cast net but this video was the most helpful. Simplest, most effective technique. Took me a while to figure out to flip my right wrist to get the farthest part of the lead line to extend.

Tried this out and I must say it works...but the one thing which is very important is to tap out the lead weights before throwing to ensure they are not tangled...I kept getting it wrong even though I was following everything until I did this...I actually now separate the entire bottom of the net at my feet prior to throwing...even though he does that in the video it's a small step and not many will realise or notice it

I try to cast at the skyway pier fla. and the water is 25’ down from the top of the pier, a lot of times because of the wind it bananas out I’m hoping that this demonstration cures my problem, it seems like the easiest way to throw a cast net , thanks for posting this is a great video 👍🏼.
