I've shot craps for the last 15 years off and on. For the last few years I've had a casino 10 miles from my house. Going more often showed me what a lousy shooter I was. Without seeing any video I did what I just saw and tried to develop a routine. I do a quick set with numbers I like, shoot from where I'm comfortable, throw the dice softly into the wall without hitting any chips other obstacles. I've found a routine that has definitely improved my results. Just nailed an All, Tall and Small in Vegas (1st time ever betting it!) last week for $2100. Einstein once said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." It works for me. Very good video $5 yo. Thanks.

Needless to say, the guy who ran the game was told by the supervisor to interfere with his streak rolling and he tried to by stopping him from rolling a couple times. But it didn’t work, Remember You control the roll and the Dice when they are in your Hands! And Not the Operator! They can’t stand that but that’s tough! The point of Dice Control isn't to roll specific numbers (which is very improbable and the reason a lot of people say dice control does not really work), The point of DC is to eliminate at least one 7 from the random roll. In other words, on a random roll, out of 36 rolls, the 7 rolls six times, the 6 and 8 five times and so on. If by using DC, you are able to change the odds so that you are rolling five 7's out of 36 rolls, then that gives you a HUGE advantage over the casino. That is the theory anyway and I don't think that gets explained very well (if at all) in these videos.
@MegaMkmiller5 жыл бұрын
It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to eliminate a 7 with how you roll the dice. Dice control is bullshit.
@paulg6875 жыл бұрын
Nonsense - pure and simple. Consider this: If you throw 1 die. Can you predict throw it as to hit the same number each time? No of course not. To do that you would have to throw it from the EXACT same location, raise it to the EXACT height, throw it with the EXACT trajectory, with the same EXACT velocity and hit the table at the EXACT height. Now, why do I say 1 die? Now you have to do it with two dice EXACTLY the same. It doesn't matter what your first die is, actually mathematically to hit the 7. This is because every dice throw can hit the seven. So you can mathematically play the same odds with 1 die. By playing with two it compounds the randomness. Not that you need it. If you believe otherwise, you are believing mysterious mumbo jumbo.

The inline 6 set ( shown in photo) gives the shooter four ways for the seven 1/6-6/1/-2/5-5/2 which is 25% ( 4/16 combinations) There are other sets that only give you two ways for the seven and that is only 12.5% for the seven. About 20 years ago I shared this method with my brother-in-law who happened to be a world-class statistical engineer. I'm not exaggerating. He laughed his educated ass off. We had some good laughs tearing this idea to pieces. I said what the hell let's try it at a local casino. He said well, you try it you are the one that's been practicing it. I said ok but I knew he enjoyed playing dice. He was extremely skeptical and when my turn came with the die, I could see him snickering. Well, to make a long story short, I rolled so many 6-8’s he stopped laughing and started placing the 6-8 and stacking chips. We both were shocked. It was the most $$$ we had ever come from a casino with. He never credited it to the toss method. He insisted it was metaphysical or a function of self-confidence. He had done many experiments with random events with positive vs negative environments and he was convinced it was a function of belief and not technic. But all I know is it worked. We were laughing so hard at the table they stopped the game a couple of times and change the dice about 3 times.

I like your story. I've been playing craps for 30yrs. Like any casino game there's chance and luck involved. However, I like what this video touched on when it said "put your fate in your own hands".........its not a coincidence that when someone who wings the dice and doesn't know how to get a good roll, 7's out fast. Its no coincidence that when a roll takes a funky bounce off the back wall and hits a stack of chips that a 7 is highly likely. I've seen so many players in my time that arrange "set" the dice and throw them like they have their own technique and know what works. Yes these players 7 out fast at times like everyone else, but they go on longer rolls a higher percentage of the time. I also don't believe its coincidence that some people hit hard-ways out the ass for some reason and some people just roll a bunch of craps, a few 10's an 11 and then 7 out.........all that said, it 100% has to be how the dice are rolling after they leave the shooters hand. And with that said, how can one believe that there's no possible technique to be applied to get numbers to come in???? What I do believe is a bunch of b.s. is how people turn their #'s off after stick change, just ready for a 7 to come in. Of course we all remember how many 7outs come in after a stick change. Why does this happen? not because changing stick forces a 7 like some supernatural occurrence, but because with all the people that come and go casually in Vegas, AC, etc etc, how many of them really properly know how to throw the dice???
@whippet71 Жыл бұрын
@@albie21121 There is certainly a lot of supersition within the game. I like focusing on statistical patterns. For example, the probability of 'not' tossing a 7 is about 83% each roll. So, what's the probabily of 'not' tossing a 7 within 3 rolls. Well, the probibility of the third event is the probibility of the 1st event times the probibility of the second event times the proability of the 3rd event or (.83 X .83 X .83) or 57%. So when you realize almost 50% of shooters toss a 7 within 3 rolls, you realize how frequently the 7 actually occurs in the game and why the game is so difficult. On normal distribution a 7 should roll every 6th roll. So, when you see 12 or 15 rolls without a 7, it's important to understand how statistically rare that event is. That's (.83 to the 12 th power) a very small percentage. For it to happen just once as the dice rotate completely around the table is somewhat rare.
@albie21121 Жыл бұрын
@@whippet71 I never looked at it that way nor have I paid attention to the amount of rolls w.o. a 7. Next time I'm down I will keep count. I was down yest. I walked up to an empty table which I usually don't like, but the flip side is I got to be the only roller for a bit. I had a monster 1st roll, then the table went from ghost town to totally filled in. I was rolling for about 45mins and hit a shit ton of 6's and 8's mostly soft and made alot of points. I hit small/tall twice and was a aces away from a make em all once but didn't come in. I wish I would have counted the rolls before a 7 including the come out. Even though I never put your theory here in play with counting rolls, I do happen to believe that whenever a 7 is rolled during come out, that's a great sign and I go big. If you get 2 or 3 seven's in a row come out, I go huge. later in the day I went on another monster roll, only for about 15mins, but was hitting alot of inside #'s for a good payout. I didn't count, but I can tell you I def had well over 15rolls w.o. a 7.
@whippet71 Жыл бұрын
@@albie21121 I call it 'distance from the 7'. Remember the norm is 6 rolls. Remeber only 32% of rollers will actually roll the dice 6 times without a 7. The frequency of the 7 is every 6 th roll. If you roll 45 times (assuming you rolled once every minute) without a 7 you are 7.5 standard dev from the 7's normanl distribution. This is an extremely rare event. We've all done it and have seen it done. Nevertheless, this 45 roll event will happen about every 100+ rollers. If ten people are at the table the dice will orbit the table 8-12 times before you see 45 rolls without a 7. Assuming one roll per minute, this is on average 10 hours of dice rolling. I've noticed after this type event you will see a clusters of 7's rolled. This is regression to the mean. In other words, you owe the table 7.5 more - 7's to normalize the distribution or balance the table. I'm not implying you'll see 7 or 8, 7's in a row, but often times you will see a higher than the normal distribution of 7's. Side bar, one easy way to track distance from the 7 is with your chip stack in the rail. For example, use a white chip each time the table rolls a number that is not a 7 and a red chip each time the table rolls a 7. You will have a snapshot of the frequency or distance from the 7 by looking at your chips on the rail. Also, rembember half the time the dice roll it's an even number and half the time the dice roll its an odd number. Also, half the time the dice roll its an inside point 5,6,8,9 or a 2,3,4,10,11,12. Also, half the time the dice roll the number is above 7 and half the time the dice roll the number is below 7. Now, you have three 50-50 events that will chart an Elliot Wave. Two waves out of balace will point to the third wave. Google Elliot Wave, any 50-50 probability will create an Elliot Wave charted over time. If you don't believe me, just take a quarter and chart the flips. One more thing while I'm rattling on. . . each number has a sister number except the 7. Here they are 2-12, 3-11,4-10,5-9, 6-8. If the normal distribution of the 4 is laging for example the 10 will be at a higher frequency of occurance. If the normal frequency of the 6 is laging the 8 will be at a higher frequency. I charted this 1,000 times on a pyrimid distribution. I have no idea statictically why this happens but it does. The pyrimid chart should complete 95% of the time after 72 rolls. However, it doesn't because there is always a number that lags. However, everytime the a number lags it's sister number exceeds it's frequency.

This way i can find the hot shooters on the casinos money, not mine. Great work!😎👍

I like how you note the hazards, or factors, that contribute to more randomness than predictability. However, I am solely watching this to help with rolling dice for tabletop games. That means, I can’t toss dice far on the table because that’s rude and I can accidentally hit players, and that it can appear obvious to the other players. So I have to craft a way that incorporates your strategies for a smaller landing pad, and short distance rolls. In short, I aim to always roll 6s on my dies. Now how do I roll 8s, 10s, and 20s is gonna be a doozy.

I agree with much of what you're saying here. Especially about the sticky fingers and land mines. I even tried to put a little bit of baby powder in my pocket. Using the box cars on top and the hard 10 facing me. I had a 20-minute roll at the Horseshoe 30 years ago. There was a smooth area above the gate on the back wall. The table was not very long. I was shooting from the opposite end of the table. This particular dice set I used to produce field numbers. My throwing style was different than most and a little rough on my shoulder. Using 2 fingers on the top front of the dice and my thumb in the middle of the rear. I put a small split between the dice. I would use what I call an overhand throw meaning, I would try to get the dice rolling forward as they left my fingers. Object was to get the dice to separate on landing so as not to interfere with each other. This dice set will produce a large number of sevens. But because of my throwing style, they were avoided or only came up during the come out. This part was luck.

Constant practice is key like with darts and horseshoes. The way to quantify any edge for dice control is for each individual to roll 1000 times with the set for specific sister numbers. If 7 comes out less than random and target numbers are hit more frequently, then you may have a positive EV. If not, then you will lose in the long run. The key is also to put your money on bets where the house has a small edge that your EV can possibly overcome.

Great if that works for you. I always say, do what works for you. Many people are afraid to set the dice with the sevens facing up just because of superstition. Or they prefer to set the dice in such a way that if the dice turn over one time it's not as likely to be a seven. Dice setting is primarily about avoiding the seven and extending the roll.

Just learn your six "Master sets" and the inside axis numbers. you yourself is the only person you can control. the dice are random. proper setting of dice and your tossing technique toward the back wall with your influence on how you do this can achieve more throws without seven out. tossing more throws consistently makes a winners table for all players. wild throws will only make you seven out and lose your money. Take control of yourself and set dice and toss gently and consistently and you will notice more wins than losses. Eventually the seven will show but 20 or more tosses are better than six and your out. Practice Your Influence.

@@ALL4SCUBA05 WHAT? LMFAO, Please do some research because you clearly know nothing about ODDS behind the pass line! ODDS Depends on the NUMBER after the initial roll!! LMFAO Either you are just playing for fun or just a beginner, here is some info you do not know about: AND YES THIS IS COPIED AND PASTED FOR YOUR LESSON: (instead of typing) Most casinos allow what is known as "3- 4-5X Odds." This means the player may bet up to three times his Pass bet on the odds after a point of a 4 or 10, four times after a 5 or 9, and five times after a 6 or 8. How did they come up with this? I think because if the player always takes the maximum odds, and he wins on the pass line, the Odds bet will always pay 6 times the pass line wager, making the math easier for the dealers. Some casinos pay even more, like 5X, 10X, 20X, or 100X odds on all points. If you see a casino advertising something like "10X Odds," that means that you can bet up to ten times you Pass bet on the Odds. JUST FYI

Distractions will kill you. Thirty years ago I was in Atlantic City rolling the dice after a poker tournament. Two in the morning and I am on a roll. Started with $135 across and soon enough I had $2700 across with some pretty good presses. Now while I am about to roll a little old lady comes up to our table (we have three people at the table, so the dice move quickly) and throws $100 bill on the table. The stick stops me from rolling and gives her $100 in chips. She doesn't bet but she takes the chips and walks away from the table. I look at the dealers and they just shrug their shoulders. I call all my bets off roll the obligatory seven and take all my chips (about $8500 as I started with $300) to the cashier. Anyone want to guess if I tipped? Distractions are a killer, and the dealers are not always looking out for you as a shooter. Best advice is to be observant of what is going on at the table.

Got lucky and stood next to a friendly guy that was willing to share some knowledge. Bought in but didn't do well at that table. Later I bought in at what would be the hottest table I have ever seen and haven't seen since. Beginners luck might just be real. lol. Don't remember how long I was there, but I took my $100 buy-in up to about $1200. If I had known then what I know now, I could've walked away with at least 5k or more because I wasn't pressing or betting very high. It's a fun game and you can win big, but you have to play smart and know the table. Sometimes I just break even, and that's a win in my book.

I found a way to roll that works very well, always be at the end of the table, I've noticed I roll ten and eleven more frequently with the way I roll.
