Love the information/tutorial style videos! I actually curl my middle finger up against the inside edge of the rim on sidearm throws rather than a straight finger style. I get a lot of spin/snap with this hand placement. I love sidearmiming my Craves! You're missing out Dyan!!! Keep up the great work

Very good summary of the highlights. I do have to say that my biggest issue, once I got the grip sorted, was just keeping the throw on the same plane. If you start too high or low and correct mid-pull, you're gonna have wobble. I also loved what you said about avoiding the neutral discs on FH. On every FH video there are people saying that you *need* to learn to throw flippy discs that flip up and go straight. Even the pros very rarely use that shot and prefer to go BH in such cases just due to the consistency. You can absolutely learn clean forehands with overstable discs if you are just honest to yourself when evaluating the release and don't get fixated on the end result (fading right).

I love the straightforward instructional content! High reply value as I work to integrate the techniques because there is great explanation without a ton of preamble.

Sidearms are pretty cool and I like that there are different ways to go about it. Personally I do the "Pop n Stop" Method. I can sidearm 350 pretty consistently and I'm satisfied with that.

I love the Crave. My best forehand thrower for midrange. I know if I release it flat, it stays flat and fades right at the end. Plus the disk is super flat neutron plastic.

Good video overall for beginner. Never thought about the plant foot direction, but I naturally point forward. (looked at a freeze frame) I on the other hand use something more like a shryke which is more neutral and throw with some hyzer to flip up flat. Agree with picking discs of extreme difference though. I'm not great at throwing mids or understable drivers sidearm.. definitely need to work on that touch.

I learned from Eagles video. But then realized my body doesn’t move like that. I then started using the chop forehand idea from Gannon. Picking discs is underrated

I definitely like this instructional content. My finger placement is about the same as yours, but I’ve been told to keep my elbow in with very little to no reach back with power coming from mostly the spin/flick. I noticed that you do reach back, I’m curious of your thoughts on that. Secondly, I don’t understand how you got the Strive to go left, because that is not an under stable disc, I really expected it to curve right. Thanks for everything!! ✌️😃🥏⛳️

I suggest that you watch videos from Scott Stokely to learn about the elbow placement. Forehand throws have a lower spin to speed ratio, so they act less overstable.

Having a lot of problems with wobble's. Going to take your tips and see if I can improve my technique.. Another issue I have is that there is few areas where I can do throw practice. Like football fields, parks etc.. Do you have any good tips to areas that one can throw distance shots on that is not "obvious" places to go..

Yes, I'd like to watch more form videos. I totally feel your comment, that it seems to be a totally different player when it comes to forehand. I'm working on my backhand. I'm getting more and more constancy there. But I have absolutly no cobtroll for the forehand. It feels totally different and wrong :D
