question about the last steps, you run in straight line but looks like last throw foot placement is much further to the right, and the block foot is placed a bit further to the left, like the run hooks a bit at the end.

So during his talk the front foot was turned in but during competition, it was pointed towards the throw. Which one?

I noticed that, tooo! Definitely not turned in as he demonstrated, because you want it to be easy to drive off the rear leg and rotate the hip. But I was surprised at how far he turned his foot out in the competition clip.
