We call them ribbonfish here, when I was a kid we’d fish for them at night under lights, then sale them to the mackerel fisherman for like 10$ a piece but being hook and line caught they’d not be scratched up just nice and shiny like mirrors. Never used them off a yak? Does he just drift them or keep on a steady pace? Cheers yall
