Daniel I can't thank you enough for the awesome amount of inspiration and learning that you have given so many of us tie dyers. You were VERY instrumental in my sticking with it and finding the determination to learn something, not just follow a tutorial or memorize a fold. I actually LEARNED how to tie dye, how to pick apart a design on my own without having to have my hand held every step of the way. You are a God in my tie dye world!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!

You are welcome. I wasn't content with how secretive the process was for so many years. With the way the world is now, it is easy to share information. I am glad that I could help you!

Daniel you are so clever to imagine the shape of things when they are all tied up and folded like that, i cant wait to have a go at something myself :)

+Sarah Collins Thanks. I was thinking of doing a sunflower. I think it is close to a lotus depending on the color.

I'd love to see this done on a t-shirt! I collect turtles and I have a pet Russian turtle 🐢 is it possible to do this on a t-shirt?? I hope you'll do a video on it. It can just be the turtle part, Thanks!

where do get artificial sinue on a dowel?
@RoslynRags7 жыл бұрын
I used a dowel I had lying around and wrap the sinew around it. I've tried wrapping it around a washable marker, but the plastic is too weak. I hope that helps.
@donnawheeler62837 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I googled sinew and figured it out. Tie dye is new to me. I enjoy your videos. Especially, ideas to create pretty bandanas.

i love this design and wish your video was a little clearer... it was hard to understand what you said in parts... and it was hard to see what you did in places , especially when it came to the head and legs. The shell made sense but sadly not the rest it was hard to follow.

+Renee Attal The turtle is a hard design to fold, let alone display. thanks
