I keep a rubbery handled screwdriver out, I wind a few turns on it to tighten, leaving the sinew on its original roll..it’s an extra step, but makes it easier to tighten and the rest of the sinew doesn’t get compressed.

As a person with hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, I've actually dislocated a shoulder pulling sinew.

Tip: draw a square or circle on your table (to mark your vid view) then keep your project in that area... it’s frustrating to find a design you love but can’t see half of the directions.... just sayin’

I’m sure thinner fabric will make it easier and a thinner marker too. What is your reasoning for using sinew or rubber bands? I understand sinew gets tighter and rubber bands have a finite length, but there seems to be more to it than that.

That’s awesome! Thank you! Just attempted a T-shirt. We’ll see tomorrow. Side tip...Didn’t have any cardboard.... but I do have a dozen of the flimsy rollable cutting boards. Cut out 2 inch strips. Wow. I’m already in love! So much better than cardboard

When you say “been soaked in soda ash for at least 20 mins in this case a month” do you mean you soaked the fabric in soda ash for a whole month? Thanks!

Hi casual collisins im from indonesia . i have one question . What liquid for mixing the colour powder . Is that soda ash liquid ? Or just water ? Because my tie dye's is so faded after i rinse it
