Seems like a good way of ordering them. It makes knots easier to remember when you see them as combinations of knots you already know.

This was tied with 2 overhand (or underhand) knots on either side of the slip knots. If you tie it with 1 of both by going through the back of the slip knot at 1:08, then you'll get a finish that has a distinct front and back. Then ends will come out of the overhand knots on one side and go into them on the other. This is what's displayed as ABoK 583.
