Thank you, so much for this great informitive quilting technique. I have been helping the Ladies at Church, tying quilts. I'm just a needle pusher, I have not made quilt tops. How fun to make pom-poms on the tops and X's in the corners. It's like sealing it with a kiss. 😘 We donate these quilts through a World Relief Mission, and they are sent all over the world. Thank you for sharing how you tie your quilts. I like how you prepared to tie the quilt and most of all to sew continuously instead of sewing one by one and tying it. Yay! :) I'm going for it now!

Thank you for this very informative video. I liked seeing the way you combined machine quilting with the ties. I had wondered if it was ok to do that, and how it would look, then when I saw your example it was a nice inspiration to do something similar. I have watched several other videos on tying quilts and yours is the best - I will come back to it again. Thank you!

Hi, I use Fray check when I tie my quilts. It dries clear and I know the ties are secure. Thank you for this video!

Have you ever left ties on the back? I worry the ties in front will detract from the design.

Yes absolutely! In my first book I made a quilt of men's dress shirt fabrics and had the ties knotted on the back. Sometimes doing that lends itself better to the overall design.
