It is but I had to learn to love it. Cobbler Wax became a things again for me. I also tie a jam knot but wrapping the tail end thread around so it will hold. Also I have to do two whip finishes since it is so slick and wax doesn't help.@@AvidMax

Nice looking simple fly! What is the bent metal tube applicator for the UV resin you used? I couldn't find it on your website.

Hello BP. The applicator is included with the Resin itself. Standard with the 0.5 fl oz. offering.
