I just did my first roll down like that the other day on a sequoia, completley differ technique but got it done. . . i cut the bottom, to the seal, line thru the middle, shrunk bottom, rolled window down 3/4 ruff shrunk top, cut whole window, cleaned up cut on peel board, and finished shrinking top, ive tinted hundreds of vehicles but this was my first time tackling this beast, its amazing how manys to skin a cat, keep up the great vids

Would a precut 2012 4 runner rear window be a good buy and then try to shrink at home before installation, or would it be better to hand cut one rather than plotter cut

Put the key in the back hatch key hole and turn the key and hold it and it should go up or down

I'm having a hard time just making my cuts on this backglass. I've never attempted a 4 runner. I keep messing it up. It's a 2019 but looks similar to the one here.

Why isn’t the tint all the way to the top of the edge??

This piece was cut out using a plotter and that’s what the system has on file. I’m sure you could get closer but it’s really not that necessary. You only see it when the window is open and by then there’s already light coming in from the open window.
