Really big thanks for the info and the checklist. I've been struggling on what SOPs should I be creating as a starting small cafe. May I ask what's the last item on the Coffee Training Checklist? Many Thanks! Nvm, i was wondering where the PDF was in the description. I see that it's in the website link provided.

Loving the content! I was wondering if you could do a video on how to combat working full day shifts (from opening or an hour after opening to closing) if you’ve never done it before. I’ve only ever been working morning shifts, but at this new cafe that I’m working at (second job) I have a couple full day shift coming up. What are some strategies to mentally and physically prepare yourself for full day shifts?

That’s a good question, the hospitality worker is no stranger to a long working day. Increased fitness levels and eating healthy is the best way for anyone who has a huge work load. Most successful people will be fit and healthy so that the days work is not feeling like it’s taking all your energy as your body is use to additional work loads already. Make sure you get some time in your breaks to stop, go for a 5 min walk away from work, it will clear your mind. And ensure you work smarter not harder, get your work flows in the job to be like a production line so you don’t move more than you have to, Thai burns energy and tires you out quicker.

Just pay your Barista's better wages... no process required!, no slaves required!, what an appalling video about exploiting staff! And referring to people as just baristas is demeaning. Never consider buying from a company that wants robots, What a disgrace you are! Jimmy!

Wow what a comment 😆 I agree, baristas need to be paid well for their skills and the hard work they put in to learning their craft. Not sure how I managed to portray slavery but take it how you want. Being a barista is a job, it’s a title, so referring to them as baristas is not demeaning, it’s just actually what we are called. This video will help business owners onboard their staff efficiently and quickly so they can afford to keep the doors open and pay their staff well. Staff want to be trained, not to be robots, but to be highly skilled hospitality staff that can be paid more. Anyone else feel like this? Thanks for the feedback icerocket 😏 Jimmy

@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters Ignore the troll. And to be called a Barista is like wearing a badge on honour! To say I am a Barista and I bring little cups of joy to people is an honour. You guys are doing an awesome job, I always look at Baristas and think hmm I want to do that!! ( but unfortunately a lot of cafes only employ staff with minimum 2 years experience because they don't want to train you ) Anyway, ignore the troll, they're probably have never worked a day in their life and sit in their room play video games

@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters I also wana add, you're 100% right. As a customer it's annoying when you go to a cafe and your coffee is amazing 1 day and then a total miss the next day. It's important to have consistency so as a customer, no matter who is the barista that day, u know u will ALWAYS get fantastic tasting coffee!! So confused how having consistency between staff equates to " robots " lol
