Dear Thomas Cargill, I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for your guidance and mentorship in graphic design. Your online resources and playlists have been invaluable to my growth. Over the past year, I've dedicated 4 hours daily to learning and practicing, and I'm thrilled to see improvement in my designs. Your teachings on design principles, particularly the concept of "The Hook - Focal point, the secondary detail - the message and the finisher," have greatly impacted my work. I'm now confident in creating aesthetic and functional designs. Thank you for making graphic design accessible and enjoyable. You've played a significant role in my journey, and I appreciate your expertise. Best regards, Osikemhekhai Bruno.

When you say graphic design, I think generally it overlaps very strongly with commercial design, and while some fancy designers seem to think that “professional“ designs are stronger, if they fail to communicate whatever their message is, then they have failed overall. Your initial example shows some triple design with different images and all three of the images the buildings the woman and the waterfall don’t clearly convey anything. I see this all the time with fancy websites or magazine ads that are supposed to be striking and interesting and they utterly fail to communicate whatever the heck they are supposed to communicate. I’ve seen whole websites containing tons of words and graphics and yet they are impossible to get real information from. It makes me wonder if people think that the icing is more worthwhile than the cake.

It's been a while I have visited your channel. This is a superior video. One small suggestion on the text appeared while the chanel example was explained. The text should have been right aligned as against left. That would've brought more balance and more emphasis on the text explanation appearing. I loved the way you had the small details on the sneaker making it larger than the frame and the way it disappeared. Kudos.

Do you have any idea how to tackle the manager, who doesn't have any skill about graphic design, and he is like giving nonsense suggestions and changes.because of he is reporting manager in startup digital marketing agency...😂
@SatoriGraphicsАй бұрын
Lol that old chestnut. Yeah I have made videos on this before.. But I can't remember the exact videos. You need to demonstrate why your idea is better by using psychology and how it targets the audience of the design. Back up your reasoning with logic, and explain how it will benefit the client financially and in terms of general business growth (all of this assumes your design is the better approach)
