@Synocra3 жыл бұрын
So how is it, have you learnt yet?
@madeliner16822 жыл бұрын
As another person with an ADHD brain, setting metrics like "I need to do such-and-so every day" is more likely to make a task feel like a chore and you won't be able to leverage your very limited dopamine pool to do it out of sheer "willpower". Instead, you need to find ways to trick your brain into thinking that it is a fun task in and if itself in order to find the inclination to do it naturally. Consuming media that you know makes you feel excited for whatever it is you want the outcome to be during downtime is a particularly effective way to build up background motivation. Our brains are better than the neurotypical brain at learning from sporadic massive dumps of progress, so forcing yourself to make a habit the normal way is an inefficient way to do things for us (yeah I know this doesn't apply to everything and that some habits really are best done the neurotypical way, but I think it's important to take into account in all scenarios)
