How To Transfer Photos From Android Phone to Your Computer Desktop Using Drag & Drop

I'll show you how to quickly transfer photos from your Android device to your computer desktop using what I call the 'drag & drop' method. This method is very easy use and allows you to move exactly which photos &/or videos you want to and from your phone hassle free. As well not needing to 'sync' unwanted media which can be extremely time consuming not to mention annoying lol!

Sure uploading to 'the cloud' could be faster and or more efficient for some, thats the route I use personally. This video is just to show 1 of many possible ways to get media from android to pc. Import video from Android Sony Xperia to PС. The video is imported to the PC as two files, photos and audio files. Opens as a photo file and black file audio without sound. It happened after cleaning memory Android. With other devices the video is imported correctly. Video with another Android opens fine. Reset to factory settings did not help. why?

ok if you dont get the message then do this... plug in your phone, then open any window/folder, look to the left side and click on 'Computer' you should see 'devices with removable storage' double click your phone's drive then proceed as instructed in the video

I experience the same thing yesterday, it didn't show up at all. So I had to walk away from it all and come back fresh today to try it again. Make sure you have the USB cord in correctly, not sure if I had it in right the first time because it showed up tonight. However, when I click on it the only option that popped up is remove device, so I'm stuck again...with rapid talking Caleb it's hard to follow.

My friend who is my tech support told me that your phone has to be in unlocked status, then go to notifications select USB settings to select media transfer and not charging your phone. Make sure your USB is plugged in correctly too.

Hi Caleb. Paul Mindra here. Watched your video and will go back and execute. I am a bit confused. I can send images from my phone through email and have them at my email destination and have them placed into 'Picture's' for example. What did I miss, that allows me to plug-in my android to my desk top and transfer the information that I want to be transferred? you follow the steps as shown and/but instead of just going directly to the DCIM folder you can access any/all data on your phone from the root directory, so to find say edited pics look for the folder name of the app you used to do the editing

Phone needs to be on for sure, try looking in settings for usb options and change to 'mass storage'. As well windows vista doesn't preload or check windows update for drivers, try going to your phone manufacturer support website to download and install the proper drivers.
