Do you use continental grip for this shot?

This is a different technic than most slices where the racket will go under the ball. it almost feel like a slice technic but hitting the ball flat at contact rather than slicing it

Now I do slice it this way all flat at contact with the racquet open at neutral. but sometimes I like to point the butt directly at the ball and just flip the racquet to make the slice a little more nasty to deal with.
