Could you give tips for alternatives of vases...like...plastic cups..or maybe empty prosecco bottles....i want to throw everything away after the even. Bottles of prosecco would be great? Or?

Silly question here. Do you put couple of inches of water in for transport and then add a little more when arriving? Probably a basic question but curious as to correct protocol. My husband is my driver and in the city... well, a rather robust driver in the traffic.

Hi Paula, not a silly question at all. The best practice is to keep the vase filled with as much water as possible during transportation, or if you're going long distance. But if you know that there could be spillage going through town, leaving the water level down would be ok if you can fill it as soon as you get to the venue or event space.

So do you set the box with the vases inside another box? How do you support the bottom of the vases?

A sturdy box should be enough to support the vases and the flowers. And we always make sure to tape the box before we put the vases in.
