Great! My whole grain bread with almond butter and banana is Ok?? I have fatty liver disease.

Oh my stars! Good drs are hard to come by in my area. My liver function tests were off, as were my kidneys and current dr said after we rule out any serious condition or problems -muscle enzymes were off too- she gleefully told me about GLP-1 and how they are the fountain of youth in terms of replacing all the enzymes we quit making as we age. I didn’t realize she was talking about meds like Ozempic /monjaro , etc., until I got home. 😳

Is it harder for type 1 diabetics to loose weight? Have a 17 year old with T1D and she’s been plant based 2+ years - weight won’t come of - barely maybe 5 pounds… help! Can someone shed some light?
