I'm going back for my 4 adjustment 😭 its better but I can't out my weight down on my right foot with orthotics . Iget shooting pain from the second toe.. is this anormal adjustment peorid please? For orthotics and Morton neuroma

Hey Jennifer, 80% of the time Mortons neuroma is in the 3/4th toes, and 20% it can be in the 2/3rd toes. I'd look into the condition - "capsulitis" as this is a more common condition if it's just the 2nd toe and can commonly be mis-diagnosed. If this is the case you will need an orthotic with lots of shock absorption to unload the 2nd toe. But, to answer your question about Mortons Neuroma: Because it is a nerve impingement, yes, 4+ modifications is common, as nerves follow different pathways so it can be tough to unload the exact nerve impingement. You will need to ensure you have wider shoes, as this is commonly the main cause and onset of Mortons Neuroma.
