What size ear liners and ear butts do you generally have to use? I just caped my deer head out and forgot to measure for my ears. I’m on the Tennessee Alabama border. Great video.

Hey thanks for watching! I will use the medium ear liners and butts on southern deer. They will fit a wide age range of deer. As I demonstrated in the video you can trim the ear liners down to fit your two year old to four year old deer and use them whole for the mature deer. I will use the large for the northern deer. The smaller ones are for very young deer.

great videos how do you know what sized ear liners to order?
@ClearCreekTaxidermy Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! The ear liners come in S,M,L for your very young deer such as a small yearling doe or button buck you would use a small. Your older deer 2yrs plus will usually take medium. This is usually the case with most southern deer. The large ear liners work well with big mature deer normally the northern deer. After you determine if you have a young deer or older deer and if they are northern or southern deer you can order the correct ear liners and then trim them to fit your ear skin.
